Workplace workshops
At Rivers Assist, we offer two dynamic workshops designed to support mental health and wellbeing in the workplace. These sessions are practical, engaging, and tailored to equip your team with the necessary skills and knowledge to create a healthier, more resilient work environment.
Mental health first aid course
Our mental health first aid course empowers participants to recognise early signs of mental health issues and provide immediate support to those in need. This comprehensive training covers a range of mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety disorders, stress, suicidal crisis, psychosis, self-harm, eating disorders, and substance misuse. Our goal is to equip your employees with the confidence to act as a first point of contact. Whether you’re looking to raise awareness or create a more supportive environment, this course helps you build a mental health-informed workplace culture. Participants will learn how to manage sensitive conversations and direct individuals to appropriate professional help when required.
For those who have already completed the full mental health first aid training, we offer a half-day refresher course to ensure your skills and knowledge remain up to date.
Wellbeing training
Our wellbeing training programme is designed to foster a positive workplace culture where employee mental health and wellbeing are prioritised. This interactive training provides valuable insights into managing stress, promoting self-care, and maintaining a balanced work-life environment. It focuses on preventative strategies to help employees manage challenges before they escalate into more serious issues, contributing to increased productivity and a more engaged workforce.
